Stars in their Eyes with Auckland Museum

Room 4 and Room 5 had our Education Session with Auckland Museum educators, Matirini, Ma’ara and their supervisor.

Our part of our session was about our Pacific Ancestors and why they migrated and how they navigated the Pacific ocean.

Did you know our ancestor travelled from Asia?

Did you know some of our ancestors travelled on a waka called Waka Hourua?

Part 2: Exploring Taonga’s treasures.
