Last Wednesday year 7 & 8 went surfing and New Brighton Beach, for a part of the duke festival on the 19th. We had to walk down from our school, NBC, to New Brighton Beach. Where we met our instructors, they where so nice and kind and helpful- explaining us how to surf if we weren’t sure about how to. I am new to surfing, it was okay, but it’s just not my thing. But thank you for teaching me, it made me give it all a try.
I did end up getting hit off my board by massive waves, which hurt, a lot. 
Overall surfing was fun and interesting, learning all the hand signals. But when I got back from the beach to school, I was so tired, I actually nearly slept out the grass patches outside, so comfy.
