1VOC Pumpkin Soup & Bread

Today in 1VOC we made Pumpkin soup and bread.

In our group were me, Mufaro, Finesha, Nevaeh, and Charlee. We started by washing our hands, cleaning the area we were going to work on, and got all of the essentials we needed to cook. We then allocated jobs for what we would be doing so that we were organized when we prepped our veggies.

After getting knives and chopping boards for us we started dicing our veggies. Mufaro diced the pumpkin, Finesha and I diced the onion and garlic, and Nevaeh diced our carrot. Once we had all our vegetable dices and cut we put the pumpkin on a tray laid with baking paper and covered in a little bit of oil and one crushed up xo cube and placed the tray in the oven. With the rest of our veggies we placed them in a pot with a little bit of oil then started to do a little clean up in our area for lunch.

After lunch our pumpkin was cooked and ready. Me and Charlee then put on our pot and slowly started mixing our veggies until they went a bit soft. While the pumpkin was getting mixed in with our veggies Finesha diluted our other xo cube in hot water until it was fully combined before mixing it into our veggie in the pot and Mufaro stared on our bread.

After helping Mufaro mix our dough and getting ready to place it into another tray, Charlee mixed our veggies until they had thickened up and fully cooked. We then placed our dough in the oven to cook and once our veggies were cooked we started to like to blend them up with cream till they became a thick creamy soup.

Once our soup was blended and done and our dough was now cooked and is a bread we plated it up and placed our bread on a plate and our soup into a bowl then we just added parley on the top and the soup was so so so good.

Our recipe for the pumpkin soup was-
