Dear Whaea Lorraine,
I strongly believe our classes should be allowed to visit KPMG.
Firstly, learn about careers we may not know about. Few students may not have a clear understanding of specific careers causing them to fall behind in knowledge to choose a future career. If a professional arrives at Edmund Hillary, and is speaking about their job, some students may not comprehend what the professional is talking about. Leading to a misunderstanding of what they do for a living. So the KPMG trip will help students learn more about the varieties of careers for the future.
Secondly, become inspired to set future goals. Students may not have goals for the future so they’ll have nothing to achieve in the future. For example, if they want to become an accountant for their company, they can participate in the KPMG trip to help set their future goal as they learn about the accountant in KPMG. When the accountant is speaking about their set goals they had achieved, it could inspire the student to have future goals. Giving us ideas for high expectations and being able to understand our future achievements.
Finally, proving leadership and reliability. If we participate in the KPMG trip, it will prove we can show leadership and we will be reliable. It will also show we can be trustworthy outside our gated community. If we arrive at KPMG, we will be able to behave in front of them hoping to impress them. If we can prove we’re trustworthy and reliable in front of KPMG, then we will be able to improve on any future trips.
For these reasons, I strongly believe that the trip to KPMG headquarters would be a valuable learning opportunity for Room 9 and 10.
