Task Description: Last week I was given a writing task from my teacher asking us to write a recount based off your school break or what you simply wished would have happened. As for me I chose to write about a wish I have had in the holidays about wanting to visit the library for books. Though, before we started writing the recount on our devices our teacher gave us the assigned task of drawing a picture of what we desired to write about. This drawing was a simple sketch of a bookshelf and a bean bag which already carried the message of my topic well. Despite the fact I had unfortunately forgotten to add a sketch of myself by the bookshelf, I still managed to plan around my drawing well.
This topic of ” in the holidays” was peculiar to come from our specific teacher as she wasn’t necessarily the type to ask us to write about our holidays and has made this point clear. Though I still wrote a recount on the topic that I had originally chosen. The plan that I have down is pretty simple and was basically only who, what, where and why. this included smell and feel
This was a fairly simple plan and didn’t include many challenges though one of the biggest corrections are language and structure. As we all may know, recounts are written in past tense as it already happened in the past and the structure of the writing itself. My recount writing that I have built up from this plan is below.
