Freaky Friday

I woke up this morning, and put my very expensive suit on, but I was very tired, but I remembered to have some coffee, so I went to go get some coffee, and while I was drinking it, it spilled all over the floor and me.

As soon as I finished getting changed I had forgotten to change my kitten’s litter box, but I was already late for work, so I quickly changed it and ran all the way to the car, but forgot my car-keys, went back to get the car keys, got into the car and forgot my suitcase, went inside again and forgot to put my cats food in his bowl, I was already super-duper late for work.

I got to work and had already forgotten about my interview with Mr. Frank, I was so stressed that I had remembered my interview that I did on my laptop, I was so thankful that I put it on my laptop, but then as soon as I turned on my laptop it was flat, and when I was late to the interview they said I was fired. I ran, threw and ripped up all the things I did, I was so furious today because today in the morning wasn’t good and at work too.

So the next day I just stayed home and watch Netflix and sleep and eat while my house is looking like a dump, but I didn’t care, I could do anything I want, the next day my house got evicted, I screamed at the top of my lungs, and then I was homeless.

What I want New Zealand to look like when I’m 25?

What I want New Zealand to look like when I’m 25?

When I’m 25 I would like New Zealand to look more clean aka pollution and rubbish. I want to own a mansion in Waitangi and heaps of money. I want to have a walk in wardrobe that I don’t use for clothes but for shoes, and lots of them. I want to have a collection of high end and expensive designer/branded shoes. I want to become a sneakerhead. My collection would reach a price of at least 5 million dollars worth. I would buy my mother her own house because she is my mum and the same with my brother. I would like to visit every country in the world because it would be a good experience and it would be fun.

Voting age

Should the voting age be lowered to 16?

In my answer I think not because 16 is an immature age for a teenager and 18 is like just getting settled into adulthood and they would have gone past on being stupid or trying to impress and be more mature in their decisions in life.

I believe that as a 16-year-old your still learning new things in life and your still learning about being a young adult but is still to believe that you are young and go out to do new things with friends, however a 18-year-old should already have gone past that and should now be thinking about their near future and should have already learned what’s good and what’s bad basically.

In my opinion if  16-year-old’s were to vote would they do it for something that interests them? or just vote for fun because they believe that it is okay?

These are the things that could make their vote go for the person that wants nothing to do with helping the environment but to help build more technology.

Lastly I’m not saying that all 16-year-old’s are bad but the majority of them can be stupid in choosing who to vote for in some cases, but maybe in the future our 16-year-old’s are more intelligent.

should the voting age be lowered to 16?

In my opinion I strongly believe that the voting age should be lowered to 16. From being a teenager I think that we don’t get enough of a say in what happens in our future. The government don’t do much for teenagers, especially when every decision they make decides our future. Having the voting age lowered would be a pro for our country. I understand that many older people believe that we would just be foolish and abuse the privilege of being able to vote at such a young age, but I believe that our generation is extremely capable of voting responsibly.

I think if the government were to lower the voting age adults or people over the age of 18 shouldn’t get to decide this referendum. I believe that the targeted age group should get to make this decision. It would be a great way to really test them to see if they are really up for voting at such a young age. If New Zealand were to lower then voting age this could potentially attract more people to vote and the percentages could be higher than they’ve ever been.

Like I mentioned before, adults have that fixed mindset and they believe that we will not have the maturity to vote for the right party. But adults don’t really know what is right for us because we are all different and we all have different views of our country and whats best for it. So I think if we were to lower the voting age we wouldn’t vote for the RIGHT PARTY because frankly there isn’t a right party. All of the parties have something to offer, except national but I’ll just leave that there. but we would vote for what we want in our future. Cause we have all these adults who are voting for things they want for them, completely forgetting about the actual future of our country and just letting us be collateral damage to their stupid decisions.

What I want to see in New Zealand when I am 25 – CohanManguBeckham

What i want New Zealand to look like when i am 25…

New Zealand as is, does not feel normal. My grandfather has told me, when he was younger, New Zealand was a whole lot different.Despite New Zealand still running through the system of Democracy, everything has changed. What I have really kept an eye on, was Money. There is a common quote that states, Money is Everything.I believe that New Zealand abides to that quote because that is what makes The country function.

With New Zealand having 3 official languages, It also means there are 3 different ways of living (culture wise). Take my culture for example; The way of living in my culture is buy land, make money with that land and use that money to make more money. Once I have finished, I pass the land down to a direct descendant of my family. But you see, My grandfather says it was easy to make money back then and everything was so cheap. But now-days, as i said, it’s a whole lot different.

a very large proportion of New Zealand is homeless. Reasons being, No job and even finding school non-affordable. I’ve learnt that school is a key part of life, and people that can’t afford school is very heart breaking. When finding a job whilst homeless is extremely hard. Employers around this country have high expectations and qualifications in order to work in their specific space. This is something I really want to change.

Thoughtful Thursday

Little Leo had a dream of becoming a world champion of Kung fu, so he got up very early and ate all his favourite food like chicken Nuggets and Hamburgers, and set himself up for the challenge.

He went to the Gym at 12:00p.m and went straight to the weights and after that, he went to a place where you do combat training.

It was now the day that he was waiting for so he signed up for a very special thing in his life, but can’t tell you now. After 3 hours of training, he went to go get a quick snack at the mall, he got some very delicious and healthy salad. 4 hours passed and his special thing in his life was about to happen, he signed up for KUNG FU FIGHTING!.

Already 2 hours passed and he was already in the finals.  He was versing Tough Tofu, He wanted to be like the karate kid and did his special karate move the SLithering Snake Attack, and he was a very lucky guy and made it, made his dream come true, he was in tears and full of joy.

Leo woke up from what he thought was reality turned his smile upside down. 2 week vacation

For my 2 week break also known as the holidays. I did not do that much but spoil my baby siblings. I also got given a reminder not to sneak into my siblings room to give them lollies. I spent half of my holidays sleeping because there was nothing better to do and I acted like I’d been doing hard work all day. When I got the courage and energy to get up I took my siblings to the Arcade and won more lollies. Other than that I had a great holiday. What did you do in the holidays?
