Swimming At QEll
This term, we have swimming for the first two weeks of school. We are having our lessons at QEII.
In previous years when we had swimming lessons at school I enjoyed having a good time in the water and learning lots of stuff.
Something that I have enjoyed this week is learning survival backstroke and learning how to swim better. I also enjoyed looking after my buddy who is named Sam.
Something that I have found hard this week is keeping my breath underwater.
Something that I want to improve on next week is my freestyle and breaststroke.
All about samoan Laguage week (I shouldn’t of done this last term thought but yea…)
This task was suppose to be posted last term but we were so caught up with other stuff so yea…
Kelly Sport – Catching And Throwing
I practised catching and throwing.
First I played tags, tags is a game bassicly I have to rip off other peoples tags and you have to get about five tags to win the game but we played 12 groups.
Next we had a warm up the warm up we did was about throwing and catching and passing.we had to get in a group of 4 .
last we line up for the 2 final game the game that we played over and under and tags rugby.
I enjoyed playing the game. I did well taking people tags. I need to improve on running faster.
Term 3 swimming
This term, most people in our school have swimming for the first two weeks of school. We are having our lessons at QEII. We have gone to QEII before for school swimming.
In previous years when we had swimming lessons at school I enjoyed the last days when we use the life jackets, go under the boat and the day when we wear our PJS to swimming.
Something that I have enjoyed this week is freestyle swimming, It’s easy and fun.
Something that I have found hard this week is lying on my side and swimming.
Something that I want to improve on next week is not looking up to see how far I am.

Fingerprint tree art
Hi my name is Morehu and I am talking about our art
A couple of days ago we started tree arts with paint we did the leafs today and we had to trace our hand for the trunk and then we used are fingers to do the leafs .
science practical

Materials:
1. Bunsen burner
2. Heat mat
3. tripod
4. gauze mat
2. Setting up a test tube rack with 6 test tubes and different amounts of water
Equipment:
- measuring flask
- test tubes
Prisoners and cops.
Today my class tried out a game that a few students in my class made up. It was called Prisoners and cops, the prisoners tried to get the ball from the cops side and return it to they’re side (wich is the side the prisoners start from ). The prisoners and cops start on two sides of a court going vertical.

My Tukutuku
I like my TukuTuku because it challenged me and it took for ever but I finished it. I chose the flounder (Patikitiki) because not much people did it I hope you like it.

Today I am going to tell you what happened to me and my friends table.I was doing my painting when suddenly the bell rang and the teacher said we could have lunch.I started playing 4 square with my friends until the end of lunch bell rang sio I headed inside to see that a person painted on the magizines that was on our table that we used to keep the paint off.My table had the worst outcome and one table had nothing happen to it.I think I had the worst outcome to my painting.It was under a magizines corner that someone painted on and when I took the magizine off some peices stuck to my painting.Our paint was mixed one of my friends paintings went on top of someone elses.Our table was a mess.Luckily I manged to fix my painting.Thats all that happend.I hope I find the person.II hope you have a good day.Bye
PE With Kelly Sports
We did games of tag and Rippa Rugby and some passing and catching.
First We played 3 games of tag. Tag is a game where you wear a belt around your waist to add a 2 tags to the belt and team with anyone you like and last ones standing win. I did not get a win.
Next We had a to get into a group of four to go in a square and pass to each other but i only had a group of 2 so we kept throwing the ball to each other.
After we played Rippa Rugby in teams of 12 there was a red and yellow team there were 3 teams. All the teams won and lost becuase the losing team would switch with the team that waits for there turn.
Lastly we put our belts and tags away and our Kelly Sports couch told us some of the rules at the end to remember.
I need to improve on taking other peoples tags. I was good at defending the person with the ball in Rippa Rugby. I enjoyed running with the ball and dodging the other team.
MOTAT trip (That I should’ve posted last term)

Swim Magic
On the 27th of June Saint Patrick’s School started going to swim magic. At 12:10 we would start eating lunch then after eating lunch year 7 girls would go to room 8 then we get changed into our swimming togs. After getting changed we wait for the bus to arrive. The Room 1 and 2 students would go first and the Room 6, 7 and 8 boys would go second and us girls would go third.
we started our first swimming lessons. Then at the end of the session us girls would start heading out, when the girls got back we would see some of the boys playing a game with Mr.Bell. Then we would get changed into our school uniforms just in time to go home.
BLAKE NZ – VR/Virtual Reality experience
On Monday we went to the hall to do some VR stuff about sealife and to see if the water is health or unhealthy. It was fun seeing alla the different types of sea animals and learn facts about stuiff we didn’t know about the sea. We really enjoyed seaing all the fishes swimming. My favourite part about this experience was looking at all the fishes and other stuff. But this experience would be my favourite out of all, because I haven’t used an VR in a while now, but it was fun using it again. But sadly it had to end there, I wish we could do more of the VR.
Cheetah Report
Today i posted one of my old works which is a Cheetah report i have facts written on it. I picked Cheetah because its my favorite animal and they are fast. Enjoy my cheetah report.
