ANZACs Diet

This week I have been learning about the history of  ANZAC day and the anzac soldiers diet. So this week I made this DLO about their diet.

First I made the tittle which was pretty easy. Then I wrote the text, I searched most of the stuff up and put it into my own words. After that I made the background grey and added some pictures of the anzac soldiers. Finally I edited it by aranging all the photos and texts.

I found this task average because I did my normal reaserch. I need to improve on my research. I improved on larger sentences.

Acorn Cats!!🐈‍⬛

This Friday we had Mrs Locky as are part time teacher, she comes to teach us science every Friday. One of are science things was ART!! What we did is that we had to make acorn people and other stuff. I made a cat and kitten there sooo cute, now let me tell how I made them. First we had to plan. You had to do it on a peice of paper or chromebook, I made an acorn cat and kitten. You had to put arrows or lines on plan to tell you what you were going to use.

Now lets go on to the fun stuff. Stuff I needed is acorns, acorns hats, sticks and a wood plate so it can sit on. The glueing was hot and some people got a sting from it. My first, the cat mother cat, I didn’t really glue it together though, Mrs Locky did most of it. A while before that I actually painted the wooden plate that the mother cat would sit on it was a purplish, magenta colour with sparkles in it. Then I did the little kitten all by myself, hes not as cute as his mother though.

Do you like acorns? Have you played with them? Then why don’t you pop down below and comment bye.

ANZAC and WW1

In the past three days, I have learnt a lot about ANZAC and WW1.  I have also learnt how to use voice typing which is a google tool that we used to put the notes together that we had written down. Voice typing is a tool that puts sound into text. We also went on to google earth to find Gallipoli and the Dardanelles strait. I know that WW1 started in 1914 and ended in 1918, 135 countries fought in it. The reason the war started was Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria’s assassination and the blame on Serbia.
