This week, we focused on applying the RID strategy to help us make our work better and enhance our vocabulary. I’ve learned new words that I haven’t encountered upon doing this activity although it was quite challenging to find words that suit the sentence. It’s important to be aware of the words you replace. This is helpful for me because I’m used to using simple words instead of finding its synonym and better words for it. It wasn’t that easy to find better words because I might make a mistake and use a wrong word to replace something but I got through it thanks to the help of the slides our teacher made for us.
I was able to finish the tasks because I made sure to be aware and make sure that I was using the correct words to replace. Next time, I will make sure to do the same thing again and be aware of replacing and removing unnecessary words.
I will use all the words that I have learned to write any written work in the future because I know that it will make my work better and nicer to read instead of using everyday words that can make my work boring. I’ll make sure to remember the rules and the words that I have collected and used. Overall, this will help me in the future every time I have to write a written works.
