This year In Tangaroa we took part in the Diwali part. I was doing the diya part and there was a sign group and dancing group. Whoever was doing the diya was making a diya it was quite easy to make the bad part while waiting to dry the diya, also we had to paint the diya I painted my diya orange. We also had to make a paper diya, that we didn’t have to use at all (I think),.
On that night there were not many people that were doing the production and I did the Wednesday night, I was so nervous on the night but when I went on stage it was not that bad. When I went on the stage all the lights were off and it was so dark and I only could see some light coming off the top of the curtins. Inside the class we had a live cast going on we got to see people perform everyone did good. The production was not scary I am thinking of comming again on Thurday. I showed resilience as my rise value on the night.
