The key topics we have learnt this term were learning to understand genetic code, like how one thong might be stronger than other so it would get more of the domanat one and like how each thing has one that it suppose to be with and if there is one that doesn’t fit right then it would have something wrong with it.
DNA means Deoxyribonucleic acid it carries genetic information used for development and functioning of living things.
Gene is a section of DNA which codes for a particular trait for example eye colour.
Inherit means to have a characteristic trait or quality passed on to you at birth from your parents.
Punnet squares are used to show what could happen when a set of alleles combine to create an offspring.

Inheritance Humans have 23 pares of cromosoms, 46 total cromosoms half of our cromosoms are inherited from each parent which cromosoms our parents pass on to us is random.
Natural selection is when organisms are better suited to an environment, they are better able to survive and reproduce passing on their genetics
individuals not suited to their environment will die off, genetics not passed on. in this way the environment selects the best individuals. this process is called natural selections.
CRISPR is a technology which allows humans to edit DNA
I think this could have benefits for people because if its slowing someone to edit DNA then if something was wrong they could edit is to make it better like if one didn’t match up properly to the other one, it could help with alot of things
