The Activity is Zip Lining
Goal
The goal of the Zip line is to make sure the lego person is transported safely from one point to another using a high-to-low string track.
Materials Needed
- String
- Paper clips
- Straws
- Small paper
- Egg box
- Tape
Design Plan
Utilize STEM skills to create a little Harness challenge by setting up the Lego person. Students will build a carrier using the provided materials that we needed like straws and paper clips to ensure safety.
Testing & Improvements
Test the zip line track to observe the “egg box effect” and make necessary adjustments to the carrier to ensure the Lego person reaches the destination without falling. My Design that I did in the class failed but I kept going and tried to make another one at home. It was successful! and I was really delighted about the result.
