→ My expedition to Westport
At about 10:30 me and my family went on an expedition to Westport to go on a fossil hunt. So we went in the car and it was a very boring drive. I just wanted to get there.
When we got there the first stop was Cape Falewind beach. Where we saw lipids and periwinkles but my little sister Ciara called them paddywinkles. We also saw a huge rock with shells inside. We had an amazing time.
Then we tried to go to the museum but it was closed so we took pictures with the minecart outside the gift shop. (that was also closed) So we went to Postie instead. I got a jumper and Erin got one too. After that we went to another beach. We played beach volleyball for 20 minutes. Then we wriggled our feet around and they sunk into the sand.
Then we meet cam and moi then we went on a walk to the seal colonel. My favourite seal was the one sleeping on its back in the flax Erin spotted one in a crevice in the rocks. It looked like a rock! There were some in the waves. They looked like they were doing handstands. There were also seal pups awwww.
I was so happy with my experience I would do it again. It was a little bit smelly though.
