Do you know what Pollinators are?

We have been learning about how bees pollinate, how they drink and how they grow new flowers. Bees grow flowers when they drink nectar. We learnt about how to make the pen fatter. We learned how to zoom in to do the little details on her creature. Some of us made the wings of our bees a bit see through by using the opacity slider.
We created a recording with our bee.
We’re proud of our bees moving.
Something we found challenging was remembering how to lock and unlock a background.
A question for the reader: Do you know some other craetures that pollinate flowers?

Diary of a river!!

Hello, this is the diary of a river.  Make sure to read Diary of a wind!!

Dear Diary,

Today, I had a busy day. Me and Wind (my bestie) went on our daily flow to the amazon river. Me and wind were put together so we can work our magic into the rivers. Here’s our routine:

I first make the rivers move then,

Wind speeds it up as we’re instructed.

Easy peasy, ‘cause the amazon responds quickly to our calls. Then we went to the Mississippi river. Another easy call. Wind speeds it up, and I get it moving. Then 18 more rivers. Tiring. Then the TRAITOROUS Weather organization leaders (AKA: Rainbow, Lightning and sun) sent us to the RIVER NILE. THE MOST HARDEST RIVER TO MOVE AND CONTROL. ON THIS BUSY DAY WHEN WE HAD TO MOVE AT LEAST 20 RIVERS ALREADY AND NOW WE HAVE TO MOVE THE RIVER NILE. So we reluctantly moved to Egypt. You know what’s worse than moving a stubborn river? A CRANKY COMPANION. Wind was so cranky I was

on the verge of losing my water flow. When we reached it, I went straight to work, trying to tell it to move, but no, it was as stubborn as ever, not budging. It even called me and Wind “Bad at our Job!!” Well, Wind totally lost her breeze. She called Raincloud over to do something I would never dream of…

Wind: RAINCLOUD!

Raincloud: What is it, Windy? Are you sulking again?

Wind: SHUT UP OR ELSE I WILL STUFF YOU IN THE NORTHERN BREEZE! (In case you didn’t know, the northern breeze is the most chaotic breeze) We need your help.

Raincloud: In that case, I’m all ears! LAY IT ON ME, WIND!

Wind: Can you please make it flood in the River Nile? It will tame it.

Me: Well, yeah, technically it will make it listen to me, BUT WIND!!! It’s against the rulesssss

Wind: I don’t give a light air! I NEED TO GO HOME!

Raincloud: Alright, let’s do it!!

So we did it. It got tamer, and the little Egyptians got so happy! 😀 We did get in trouble with the weather organization but they couldn’t get that mad. The lecture was only 2 minutes long! So bye!!!

P.S I got a present: NEW FISH!

Yours sincerely, River.

Cubism Corner!

Today I made an art piece using realism and cubism art styles for my get creative. A get creative is when you pick the topic, not the teacher. Cubism is a type of art style when things are broken up into geometrical shapes like cubes, cones, spheres. For my get creative I chose art, and I think it’s a really fun topic to research about. Do you like my Cubism art piece?

The Purple Cow Poem

Hii!! ^U^

This week for reading we have been reading poems. Then we find out what language features it has

For example rhyme, repetition, alliteration, onomatopoeia, similes, personification, and metaphors. Today we read a poem about cats, it was about where they slept everywhere then we talked about what language features it has it had rhyme and repetition. But we read three other poems on the Ning nang nong, the purple cow, and I’m being eaten by a boa constrictor. Then after reading them we had to do an activity we had to write down the deeper meaning and most of them were to entertain, then we had to write down out favourite line and why and a idea you could use for your own poem. My favourite poem was the purple cow it was very short but I still liked it. The poem was about how they would rather see a purple cow then be one. My favourite part about this was reading the poems because my teacher made us close our eyes so we can imagine a photo of it in our head.

My work is below this text.

Its the one on the right by the way

Sorry its kind of blurry but you can kind of see the photo

Have you ever read a poem? What poem was it?

Tell me in the comments!

Thank you for looking at my work!

Byee!

.The battle of the mountains.

         ⛰The battle of the mountains⛰

Long long ago, in the lands of Aotearoa, there once lived seven Maunga. Their names were

Taranaki,Tongariro,Putauaki,Tauhara,Ruapehu and Pihanga.

All of the Maunga loved  the one and only maunga Pihanga.

Pihanga was the most beautiful Maunga out of all of them. Until Taranaki and Tongariro like Pihanga at  the same time. Tongariro and Taranaki wanted to win Pihangas’ love. So they battled for her love, so the battle went for days and nights. Putauaki and Ruapehu glared at Tongariro. Tongariro threw fire boulders at Taranaki while he was in pain.Tongariro done his mighty power “ HI  AHA” went Tongariro. Tongariro was the victor and Taranaki was heartbroken so Taranaki started to head west and carved the Whanganui river, Putauaki headed east and Tauhara headed east too, and Tongariro and Pihanga stayed behind. Once the sun rose all the mountains stayed in place where they are today. ( the end ).

For the past two weeks we have been working about the battle of the mountain, we have read two visions of the battle of the mountain  and we watched a video so we could get some ideas.  I done a story about the battle of the mountains and this is my post. thank you for reading.😁
