Diwali (Dance)

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog! This period we have a relief task where we get to choose something off of a slideshow which will either be a Google slide/Canva presentation or a blog post. I chose to do a blog post about a festival called Diwali. Diwali is an Indian festival that is not technically from one part of India as it is a nation wide festival but it is said to be originated in northern India. Some types of musics used during Diwali are famous Bollywood songs that usually come from Indian Bollywood movies. Dances that are used during this festival can be classical Indian dances or Bollywood dance routines. Sometimes there can also be garba and stick dances. Some instruments used during this fun festival are dholak which are basically a barrel drum that you can put around your neck they are from south India. another instrument is tabla which is really similar to dholak but it is a pair of hand drums.
