In Social Studies I am currently learning about an aspect of leadership and the types of governments.
At the start of this unit me and my class had to write 6 people for an example of leaderships.
My people were Dane Whina Copper, Rosa Parks, Dwayne Johnson, Whaea Lauren, Six Sixty and Sharleen Wikaire, my mum. These people have represented leadership in many ways, some in ways of leader people, helping people and representing there people.
Our next step was to learn about the three main governments, Democracy, Monarchy and Dictatorship.
Democracy is a type of government where your people are allowed to vote for their government like elections.. Monarchy is more like Kings and Queens where to be elected as a one of those you must be blood related to the blood line, like royal blood basically. Dictatorship is a selfish and cruel one. It’s where one person takes all the power and control and giving no free speech and freedom to the people, they can’t even vote for a different government.
And that’s what I learn’t.
