Today I will be talking about Class Companion. What we did in Class Companion was we had to choose AI a friend and I chose AI because AI is not a friend it is a tool that helps you with things like writing reading and math you can ask it questions like division and that but we do not want to be cheating in any of the subjects here is my writing that I have wrote in class companion.
Title: Friend or Tool?
I am going to be talking about why I think AI is a tool. Because it is kind of like google and I also chose tool because I think AI is more smart then a friend because AI is like google and is also kind of like chatGPT because if you type something and you see on the side on chatGPT then you can see on the very top it says AI and that why I think that it is like chatGPT and also like google that is what I think I also think this because AI can help me more than a friend or friends can.
I like AI because when you ask it a questions then it gives you the exact answer every time you do but if you make a mistake then maybe it not might work and when you ask a friend or friends then they take a little moment or longer then that and I am not going to choose a friends in my opinion because if I ask one of my friends a math question that is hard they might not know it even if it is multiplication or division they might not know the answer to them. I think or in my opinion that I should use google from now on so that it helps be with some words even though I can just use a dictionary for some words you do not know how to spell then you can just ask google and you can also copy and past the word you do not know how to spell but you first have to ask you teacher for permission so that you do not get into big trouble you also have to be careful because if you copy and past your teacher or teachers might know because. At my school there is this thing called hapara and the teachers at my school can see what we are doing in the wrong place and also at the wrong time you will get into big trouble they might have to send you to the principals office and they might have to call your mum but I do not think that it will go that far I just think that you will get into big TROUBLE!
In my opinion AI is a tool not a friend because if it was considered as a friend then it would be able to touch you and to know how you are feeling in a way. AI is a tool that can be an assistance and understanding how to solve a mathematical problem that you can’t even imagine as well as spelling and reading.
Artificial Intelligence has changed the way it teaches us if you are sharing personal data it could end up in the wrong hands. That’s why we need to use it as a tool not a friend. We need to make AI a tool for work not to be friends. AI can be very dangerous.
