Lent Art

We made some art for lent. This art consists of a cross and some pictures that represent different things. The Ash Cross In the Top left corner represents Ash Wednesday and how they put a cross made of ash on your forehead and say “Repent and believe in the Gospel.” The Candle in the Top Right corner Represents prayer and how we have a candle when we pray. The simple glass of water in the bottom left corner represents fasting and how we give up things for lent and only have simple foods. The coin in the bottom right corner represents Almsgiving and how we donate money to charity.
