Then we glued up with MSP so water cant come through the house then shooting finishing nails in
Static Electricity 10M Science
Today in science we experimented with static electricity. Static electricity is when electrons from one object, like the strand of hair, have been transferred onto another object, like the balloon, it then becomes negative and attracts a positive object.
Trip to Te Akau.
Last Thursday we went out to elliots bay to plant 700 trees. We left school at around 9am after packing our bags, boots, and lunches into the van which we took two vans, one for the girls and one for the boys. Once we were ready to leave we got into the van and left the school.
The drive there was good but it felt like it was ages. The drive to Russell was really boring and then it was fun once we got on the ferry. Once we passed Russell the rest of the drive was pretty good and the scenery was getting better the closer we got to elliots bay.
When we finally arrived we parked up and had a look around before going for a walk to where we were going to plant the trees. We planted trees just by the beach so we had a nice view while planting. After getting talked to about the area of where we were planting and why we were planting and the history of the place itself we split off into groups of four to complete a section at a time.
In my group was me, Pauline, Tui, and Tyler worked in the far area. We all went to different sections and started planting. After about 15-20 mins we completed our area and started moving on to the next areas to help others. After helping everyone else we all went for a photo down on the beach, it was such an amazing view.
We all went back for lunch, we had sandwiches made by the school and some of my own lunch. After lunch we hung around for a bit then made our way back to school. Overall this experience was so amazing and I’m glad we had a lovely view in the background.

1.3 Maths test
i feel like i did not try my best in the test. My strength in the test was probably the providing a statement, agreeing with the amounts of food waste poster. My weakness was definitely trying to find the supermarket with the cheapest prices of fruit.
1.3 Mathmatics Derived Grade
At first when I sat down and looked at the paper I regretted coming today I was saying to myself that I was definitely going to fail. So I had a breather and really looked at questions, the more I had look and read the questions the more I started to understand until I reached my flow state and locked in. I switched my brain on and started answering the questions. I looked in the resource sheet and got all the information I needed to answer the questions, I started answering the questions left and right. I guess all my hard work in class payed off because I ended up finishing the whole thing.
1.3 mathematics and statistics
Today in the exam I feel like I did not pass
1.3 Mathematics Derived Grade Exam
In the 1.3 Mathematics Derived Grade exam, I think I was ready to do the derived exam. My thoughts about the exam were reading the questions and taking my time in the hall, My strengths of today’s test were having a positive mindset . And I will like to take the proper exam that’s happening on the 1st of September 2026.
1.3 Mathematics Derived Grade Exam: My thoughts.
Personally I think that I did pretty good in this exam because it had questions that were very simple and often didn’t need much thinking to complete. At first I thought that it would have been a very hard exam but surprisingly it wasn’t. I think my strengths in this was that I am happy that I studied so I found it easy, I would say that my weaknesses could be that sometimes second guess my answers even after doing the working out for it. I would be surprised if I fail because the exam was that easy, and it could be useful in the future when I try find a job that allows me a sustainable income, it might be helpful. The major threats in this assessment was that there was a lot of writing involved in the question answers and working out both!
Overall I found the test simple/easy enough and I’m looking forward to seeing my score/if I passed or not.
Math Exam 1.3
Today I had my math exam and I think I did alright considering I had self doubts when I was thinking about it before it had even started. I think I did better than I thought I would be able to because when I first saw the paper and the exam I didn’t know if I would even understand but after reading it properly i started writing and it felt easier after that.
Mathematics Derived Grade 91946
During my math exam in the hall, I think I gave it a try, and I had an ok experience just being in silence and no help from teachers to classmates. Even though I could identify some of the things on the graph, the hard part was showing the calculations or even doing the calculations by myself, while also finding limitation and things to understand other ways of how a graph could be hard to tell or understand the average of something.
My strengths were that I could atleast identify the things on the graphs and think of some limitations.
And weaknesses were that I forgot a few calculations on percentages and things like that, and I should have been maybe a little more prepared.
1.3 mathematics Derived Grade
I believe I was very prepared for the test and i´m glad I was because this can be used as a back up if I cant make it to the test in the future.
1.3 Mathematics Derived Grade 91946
1.3 Mathematics Derived Grade Exam 26/8/26
Today I think I was prepared very well for the Derived Grade Exam, I think I did enough to pass the test.
I also think I’m prepared for the Mathematics exam we will be sitting during the end of the year in week 8.
1.3 Mthematics Derived Grade
I felt pretty ready for our maths derived grade exam, and I think I did really good. One of my biggest strengths was definitely reading graphs because I found it easy to look at the data and figure out what it meant. My main weakness was reading the poster and having to talk about it, which was way harder for me. But I’m still keen to keep going, and I want to do the next external exam so I can get those 5 credits.
Planting in Agriculture
On Monday I planted some coriander. I put some seed soil in a try with holes and then i put the whole packet of seeds in with some more seed soil sprinkled on top. My plant takes 4-5 weeks to harvest. The best time to sow coriander is in spring all the way to autumn.
Seedling Care.
Keep seedbeds or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply vegetable fertiliza two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedling from slugs, snails, and insect pests: go to mcgreggors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products

Inernal monologue
You get accused of talking in the english exam. your friend tried to talk to you but youd ignored them.
¨Why am I here I wasnt even talking to that chud. Why did talk to me he knew the rules and now I Genuienly have to pay the conciquences, when I get called into the office Ill say it wasnt me but they probably wont beleve me. Because of that Imbecile I will fail that exam I should have not sat next to that Lowlife disgrace to humanity. I think that we should Banish him to the depths of tartus as his ations have cost me the exam and my precious credits, I hope both sides of his pillow a warm, I wish that he wakes up and he misses the bus, I wish he gets lost in a maze. OH SHITTINGS Im about to get called into the office.
Another scenario: Internal monolouge: English Exam.
Hallo, once again I have been assigned another scenario to write about. So it is so it is: You get accused of talking in the English exam. Your friend had tried to talk to you but you’d ignored them. You have been bought up about it and now you must make a choice. (For context we have just completed our pseudo-external assessment, the assessment which will be used in case you cannot go to the real external assessment.) The goal is to show my internal machinations, my thought process when I imagine myself in this scenario. In other words my internal monologue. Here it is.
“Hmmmm, who even accused me man. Why even, I wasn’t talking. Who was even talking. Oh right, him. This lowlife yet-to-be born infant scum of the earth leech wasn’t even saying anything comprehensible. He genuinely, leaned over to me just to say 67. This idiot, was turning his whole body and I was the one called out. That parasite got me in trouble. I am not going down for his 1 braincell. I’ll snitch, what’s he meant to do. He’s like half my height anyways. He might actually be a leech who just got the right host. Yeah this is like half my grade that man can go to the last layer of hell and I wouldn’t care, actually, maybe I would.”
I don’t know the idea just pissed me off that’s how I would’ve thought.
Scenario Writing
Today in class we were given a scenario and write a short response what we would think in that moment. Scenario: ¨You get accused of talking in the exam.Your friend had tried to talk to you but you ignored them.¨
I can smell the old curtains draped above me. I can hear the clicking of pens. I can see the teacher scoping the room looking for any distractions. My friend leans over to me and tries to talk to me but I ignored her. This made her more eager to get my attention which made me frustrated. I thought to myself ¨shes so annoying, she talks to much¨
My English teacher comes over and says ¨you need to stop talking or else we will remove you¨ I say ¨Bro what the heck I was´t even talking¨ but the teacher ignores me.
