I was learning to write a newspaper report and learnt different of types of speeches. I also learnt some stuff about ruamoko. Like what stuff he looks after, live, and problems that is related to the ground.

Our class has been learning about disasters that has been happening to our sea animals by litter, oil spills, and many more!!! I did an article  about a turtle that had a big chunk of plastic in its mouth because boys were littering.

We’ve been learning about the Maori guardians and the one I chose to learn about was Tangaroa. In this newspaper report the topic was microplastics found in the guts of fish. This topic is one of the problems Tangaroa has been facing.

Me and my class mates were working on two work shet.

One of the work shets were to draw a picture of my your future cars.

The other one work shet was to write about what is from the past, future and today.

I think it was a really fun thinking experience.

And I would be really happy to do it again.

I am learning rules about companion cats, stray cats and feral cats. Companion cats are cats that stay inside your house Feral cats are cats that where abandoned and left to hunt there self stray cats are cats that roam around streets.

I am doing rules about companion cats stray cats and feral cats. feral cats are wild cats stray cats have no homes. companion cats are cats that live in our home it was hard to find rules.

I learnt that electric cars are batter then gas cars because it dose not   kill sea life.  

People are putting a lot of plastic in the ocean around 100 piecesof plastic is found in the ocean everyday and at the end of the year 1 mil pieces of plasic is found. by thalia22

We have all thrown plastic in the ocean at one point humans are the reason there is only 6.5 million sea turtles left. Around 100 pieces of plastic is found in the ocean. Turtles often eat plastic bags confusing them for jellyfish. We are the only ones who can stop it by recycling, removing plastic, and don’t buy to much stuff.

Stop polluting, water is important to us! We cant even survive three days without water.If we keep polluting we will have no water left!Only one percent of water in the world is safe to drink.The water we drink today is the same water dinosaurs drank!

Today my group  Ruamoko read the book Heat it up. We learnt that you don’t need to spend money on ovens we can make solar powered ovens  that cook by heat.The book was about how to girls named Sabitra  and Paige making a potato on a solar powered oven.  They found that if they used black paint it would cook faster.

My group is Tangaroa and I made a poster about what wrong things we are doing to the fish. In this we learned how to embed a canva poster on to our blogs and how to make a new post.

Our group learn’t about keeping our oceans clean and keeping plastic out of the sea. If sea animals die out we might die out and then the world will become out of hand with plants and other things. We should ban plastic in new zealand because there is more plastic in the sea then stars in the sky.
