Kia ora edublogers today we were Organizing our Google slides we started to move our s;li9des to the write place and then I started to delete my double slides I took a screenshot at the start to show my slides that are no put in the writew spot and at the end I took a screem shot at the end and then finished Nga mihi Curosoe

We did cybersmart blogging it was fun at morning tea and lunch time we are doing cybersmart but blogging and we are blogging at reading and writing time also everyone was so busy doing blogging on the awhina space and I come to school everyday on Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and firday also my birthday was the best birthday ever for me and room 20 had much fun on my birthday and my friends we learn how to get voice chat and blogging learn to tidy our Google drive what i learn how to type so many words up till 100 words

Today I learnt how to  organize my google drive and put it in a folder to make it less messy.We also did  voice typing I will show the picture at the end.I enjoyed it when I did voice typing. My goal is to  organize my google drive because it is really messy.

Last week on Wednesday , 22 October, we went to camp. The place we were going to for camp was Christian Youth Camp, located in Ngāruawāhia. In the hall before camp, it was so packed full of students and parents. After about 25 minutes we got into our class lines and our teachers did the roll, making sure all of us were there. Then we slowly walked to the buses class by class.

On the buses we were talking about how eagerly we were looking forward to all the fun activities CYC (Christian Youth Camp) had there. Overall the drive took about an hour and a half and most of us were asleep because we were tired since we woke up early, but the moment we stepped foot into CYC, all of our energy was regained.

Whaea Krystal quickly explained what we were doing throughout the day and we walked to our cabins to settle in. I was in cabin 9, alongside Meleane, Loralai, Faiana, Maia, Aarvi, Veda, and Hamra. We grabbed our bedding from our bags and made our beds. After about 10 minutes or so we were called to change into different clothes, whether it was for dry or wet activities.

We got into our rotation groups and immediately jumped into our activities. The first activity my group had was zuru x shots , we used these nerf guns that had foam bullets to shoot our targets. We did a practice round before getting into the real game. The rules of the game were :

1. No shooting people’s heads.
2. If you get hit, you must put your hands in the air with the nerf gun and walk to the green space, counting to 10 before getting to play again.

After about an hour, all the groups rotated. We went to the pools, then mudslide, and then we went on the hydro slide but sadly we ran out of time because it was time for dinner.

For dinner we had nachos and it was really good. After dinner group 3 ( which is my group ) had to do the dishes. After awhile we FINALLY finished the dishes. Everyone was chilling out, playing catch with a tennis ball, playing at the park, etc.  Loralai, Oliana, Farah and I were colouring with the colouring books inside the hall. We also made smores at the camp fire and they were super good! Later everyone had a shower, brushed their teeth, and went back to their cabins and off to bed. Meleane and I were laughing a lot because Loralai put her pink blanket over her head and Meleane called her a pink alien , that’s why Loralai’s nickname is pink alien now. I really enjoyed camp and hope to gp back some day.

Today I learnt how to organise my Google Drive and how to put my learning into different folders.

I enjoyed organising my drive because it can help me find my work faster and doesn’t take a lot of time. I also enjoyed it because it helps me stay more organised.

My goal for my Google drive is to make sure all of my learning is in the correct folder and to make it more organised.

At school the year 5 and 6’s went to camp but the year 4’s had an in school camp because we aren’t allowed to go yet.  We did lots of fun things. During cooking we made Ladoos because it was Diwali. To make the ladoos we used coconut milk and condensed milk then shaped them with our hands. We also made ambrosia. To make ambrosia we used yogurt, fruits and marshmallows. It tasted so good!!!

After we finished cooking, we did origami. Mrs Raj taught us how to made paper butterfly’s/frogs/bunny’s and octopus. It was so fun to make but kind difficult.

The next day we did some building. We made planter boxes for the flowers. We first had to put some soil in the baser of the boxes for the for the flowers to sit inside. It was also really fun!!!

We also made bracelets with colourful beads. There were lots of different coloured beads and we also used string. I felt happy.

Next time we have a camp at school I would like to actually sleep at school in a tent and to do more activities like swimming.

On Wednesday at school in the morning we went straight to free time .Then after that we made clay art and I made two things a Tongan cross and a ghost for halloween .Then on Friday we did cooking, we made two traditional sweets from diwali then we went to play. 30 minutes later Me, Sione, and Marco went to go get the stuff for our box plants, then Matua Sione gave us some instructions and I had to help seven people! Before I do mine. After that we did painting on plates for diwali and then lastly we did our paper lanterns and then after that we had to lay on our back until home time, and then were gone.
