Kia orana my name is Scarlette and in my literacy group we are learning about POWER sentences.A POWER sentence has 6-12 words.I am going to give an example. The clown was standing still.Now what I need to do is add a adjective.Here is a better example.The Creepy clown was  standing still while staring at a burning tree.Now that is a power sentence all you got to do is make it more powerful. Useing a power sentence will make the reader be surprised.
