How I have grown throughout the year

This year, I have become more confident than I was at the start.
I have started to be more confident in class on a daily basis, like putting my hand up to answer math questions, because at the start of the year, my confidence was way down in math, and I did not enjoy it. Now that I have built the confidence, I can put up my hand and have a go even if it’s wrong.
I had a few challenges at the start of the year, like not being able to make sure that I would get it right, but now I think, so what  if I get it wrong? I am still trying.
I have had a good year, and now I can show that I can be more confident in my learning in class and outside. I can’t wait for next year to see my confidence and resilience grow even more.

My growth this year

The amount I have grown from this year through till last year has been such a lovely journey with all my fellow classmates.

I have been surrounded with such lovely and caring friends helping me in every aspect. they have made me a more self aware, confident and a more responsible person I am today, thanks to them I can now feel more comfortable in the space I learn in then I used to be. even answering a simple question I used to be to shy to even put up my hand and say what I thought was the answer, but now I can put up my hand without feeling like everyone will laugh and make fun of me, but now I only think at least I tried, at least I have tried to share my answer and not feel like that.

I am so proud of myself for becoming more and more like I can do anything I put my mind to just like everyone should.

my time at oruaiti

at all my years at this school I have noticed that I have come more resilient and confident while speaking to and in front of people,

I have also improved on my social skills like making new friends and explaining my ideas and taking risks.

I have become more responsible such as stepping up when I need to.

I have also learned to be caring and learn how to help people.

one last thing is how to show mana and be kind to people and show and express who I am.

Thank you oruaiti for being such a good school.

My Growth This Year At Oruaiti School

As a year seven at Oruaiti school this year, I have found that I have grown in many different ways since last year such as my confidence for many different things such as the production and kapa haka, my learning journey in class and even making many diffrent aged friends such as the year 8s. I feel like this year compared to last year was an even better year because I have learnt more helpful things with my teacher to guide the way and with only one more year at this amazing school I hope that I continue growing to my fullest . This year wouldn’t have been possible without all the lovely staff.

How oruaiti changed me

In Oruaiti Ive found out I am a mix of many things, I can be confident and I can be shy, I can be loud and be quiet, I can be funny and be serious which has changed my point of veiw in many ways.  Ive also only had 2 teachers in my four years of being here which were, Rob Arrowsmith and Whaea Sarah and I think these teachers are the best ones you could posibly have. They have always pushed me to my limits and I feel like I really needed that to know whats coming up for me in life. During oruaiti I have made many friendships that I am dreading to leave but I will have to, but theyve made me feel happy even on the worst days which has shown me a real friendship. All the normal days, Tech days and fun days have shown me how amazing this school is and how incredible these students are and I appreciate this school for bringing me up and making me how smart I am now.

I have grown💗

I have been at Oruaiti School for 8 years and I have grown not just physically but emotionally as well. Oruaiti School has definitely changed me as a person. I think I am more confident when I say things in front of the class like my shape posters and speeches. I also think I have a much better attitude towards certain subjects than I did a few years ago. These past 8 years have been great and I will miss being at Oruaiti. 😁

Oruaiti school wrapped

Through my years at Oruaiti school I have grown in height and also in my learning. I have learnt to have standards and know when to let people go when they aren’t meeting my standards. I have grown in my confidence as well as how I handle all my responsibilities. I have chosen paths through my learning that I would have never tried a couple of years ago. As well as my growth I have also changed in other ways such as my apperence. as well as my personality. I believe it is a lot brighter and full of life compared to years before. And I couldn’t have changed this significantly if it wasn’t for Oruaiti school. I hope I can continue this growth through my next school.
