We did sign language today. we did our name in sign language and we did kia ora in sign language

it was cool.

This morning my cloos had whaia donu and She Halpd Awir Cloos to sign our name in and sign Language.  It was hard.

I like all of the jelly beans.  We wore a blindfold so we didn’t know what colour they were. I worked with harlem,

I was working with Danielle and we had to smell  and eat the jelly  bean  and it was so fun. We were learning about our senses.

The first thing I did In my Holiday was learning how to drive I was learning how to drive on Te Rarawa Beach witch is in Ahipara Im such a good driver (i’m actually not because I got us stuck in the sand ) Then I went to my Koros house and I stayed over his, me and my cousin were doing the dishes. ( I was mainly doing the dishes because she was playing on her phone)Anyways we were doing the dishes and she flicked the hot water in my face ( in how rude of her ) and I got mad at her and she started laughing so I grab a spoon and whacked her with it, she grab a spoon and hit me with it to, and I screamed and got in trouble by my Koro and she started laughing again  ( she’s a bully)  Then my Koro made fry bread I was still mad at him because he yelled at me for yelling but his fry bread tasted so good I just had to tell him, but what I didn’t tell him was his fry bread was kinda hard not gonna lie, “then I asked if my cousin wanted to go for a walk” “she said yes” me and her walked to the Ahipara dairy and I tripped over and we both started laughing and then we started vlogging because were vloggers I was so mugshot material, I also seen this person riding a horse so “I asked if I can have a turn riding the horse” and “she said yeah” and it was so much fun riding the  horse the horses name was Rapata and he was white with beautiful hair.  And then I went to the Urupa to see my aunty Kylee-ann and  I then I got dropped off at my house and hanged out with my maytes Mahina and Delta Oh yeah and I also went on calls with Tati at the end of the day and me and Tati couldn’t stop laughing at my old vlogs I was probably 8 when I did those vlogs

that was mainly my holiday.      

On the weekend i went to the great barrier with my mum and dad we went to go see my dads daughter cus they have a house there it was a 2 story house it was pretty big it was fun we went diving and got heaps of sea food then we went fishing the next day and my dad got a massive fish it was big as then we went for a bike ride then when we got back my mum had made a big feed. then me and my dads daughters son went down the road on the bikes and there was this cool as path way that lead to a water fall then we all went to sleep and i woke up early in the morning and went for a pig hunt with these boys and we were going to the spot and when we got there we were going to let the dogs out and let them run along the road to see if there was pig on the road but we didn’t let them out we just kept going and just down the road there was a big pig on the road and as soon as it seen us it just ran fast as and we were chasing it down the road then it turned in to the bush then we ran to the back of the truck and grabbed the dogs and let them out and they chased the pig for a lil bit then we called them back and one came back so we went to this other spot and seen nothing so we went back to the truck and the dog was just laying there so we went home and then i went back to there house the end….

a few days after I   woke up at 9 and fell asleep again then i had breakfast and watches TV all day then i had dinner and slept some more that night i had a dream about a dog the day after

It was almost my sisters birthday so we watched more TV and stayed at home we also packed our bags because we were going to Rotorua and little did we know we were doing something else.

It was my sisters birthday so we woke up at 4 am  and gave her a present then we went to Rotorua  we stopped at Auckland to have breakfast i had a Texas chicken burger with some L and p then we got some new clothes i got a purple tee shirt and we went to rainbows end first we went on the fair fall  then the log ride after that we did this old guys mine cart ride then we went on the roller coaster with me and my aunty at the end we did a few more rides the rest of the holiday was mainly watching TV basket ball and boxing. -Trinity

Basically when I was on my holiday at home no where else i didn’t go to my uncles, I was doing nothing at the time i was kind of watching my TV which connects to my PlayStation, I was watching youtube and YT shorts which they are both the same really, and I’ve been playing Call of duty black ops II campaign, Zombies and multiplayer, I also played Minecraft on my PlayStation and made food at home.

kia ora my name is wharangi and i am here to tell you how my holiday went so for the holidays i was ment to go to auckland  but we did not end up going but my cousins came up and t was really cool seeing them and my aunty we had so much fun we went tot he park we went to the beach and my little cousin learnt how to swim  and he is really good at it and i hope he keeps improving on his skills and we played fortnite and call of duty i kept on getting killed by my brother cause he is really good at call of duty but i smoked the all in fortnite i got 4 wins in a row then my cousin had a turn and he lost my crown and then my brother won a game and then we went out and got some ice cream and we had mcdonalds for dinner and we played fall guys cause my brother and my cousin are really good at fall guys suck at the game  but my cousin and my brother were helping me get more better at the game  and i won one game then i played some rocket league i absolutely suck at rocket league i didint win any of the games i played on rocket league but i won 5 times in apex then we went to bed then the next day we spent the whole day at the beach and it was amazing cause it was a really hot day and we had fish and chips and then when we went back home and i got demolished in fortnite and  then my mu whacked me with a wooden spoon and thats how my holiday went thank you for litsening to holiday.

Okay so I practically went on holiday a week early and it didn’t even feel like a holiday but anyway I went to Tangiteroria because I had to go for a family occasion. What I did do when I was in Tangiteroria I made lunch and dinner then I cleaned up the house and after all the cleaning  me and my brother  went to the gym with my cousin then we came back home to my papas house. Nearly everyday we went to the complex just to go on the swings it was pretty fun though  because my 2 brothers that came are very tall so they had to wrap the swings around the wood that hold the swings so they could increase the height of the swings. 2 weeks later we came back to KTA and my aunty from Australia came to NZ to visit us because she hadn’t been to NZ for 7 years if was nice to see her  though after a couple of days me my aunty and my sister went to waipapa beach and we got some tuatuas for my other family in Australia then the day she left she was crying and hugged all of us so many times then she left and said cant wait to see us all again for Christmas the end.

Yay! I’ve reached the end of the DFI programme and I have enjoyed it so much.

Each week I have taken what I have learnt on a Wednesday and showed something from what I had learnt in class the following day. Each week my confidence has grown using the google tools and I feel that has definitely shown through the tamariki and their ability to navigate our class site, google docs, google drawings and google slides.

Although the exam was difficult today in regards to the language used and not knowing if I was going to pass or fail. I am proud of myself for seeing it through and going back over questions that I was unsure of, to overall complete the exam with a pass. Woohoo!

I am yet to receive a DFI badge as I was away for one of the weeks that I will pick up next term. I am looking forward to that session and diving deeper into Google sheets. I am hoping to learn more in this area as it is something I don’t use very often.

Thanks again to all our DFI facilitators and especially Hinewā and the wonderful kaiako in our bubble. Being real and saying it how it is has been a highlight for me in this programme. Ngā mihi ki a koutou katoa!

Before I left,I felt hopeless saying goodbye to my loving house and my parents. When I arrived it did not feel right. So this is my new home. I sighed, there’s no place like home.

BOXING First we do two laps around the block and smack the living life out of the Turkish Kebab shop. when we are finished we have a drink and do some skipping.

after skipping we do shadow boxing then bag work then at the end we get a body shot each form our coach.when it all done  sadly i have to walk home.

Today we built boats made out of tinfoil and we tried to see how many  washers we could put in the boats. The highest was well a lot we got the second highest  was also a lot. All the boats were little because we only got a little bit of tinfoil. Me and my friend Ezekiel we had a pretty good boat, but it kept sinking except for the end. We  did a pretty good job at the end and everyone else did good as well.  Me and Ezekiel did the best well except for Te rau he won. he got six more then us and it was really cool and fun doing the boats it was also i little bit funny me and Ezekiel loved the boats it was so much fun everyone loved it. Me and Ezekiel thought we had the most in till another group one. After that we tried  it we needed just couple more to beat them but we didn’t because it was to late and nearly time to pack up so we packed and that was all the science we did today.

We made a boat. We put it in the water. We put light metal washers and tried to make it not sink. We got up to 5.

We made boats out of tin foil it was fun. We used washers to see if it sink and i put 33 in my boat.

Today we did floating and sinking science we made boats with tin foil me, Lana and Lindsay got 53 washers in one of our tin foil boats it was so hard but so fun.

yesterday we did cooking we cooked apple cinnamon muffins I didn’t want to try it tho because it might of tasted yuck. after when we cooked it everyone wanted another piece but everyone told me it was good and yum but still didn’t want to try it just just in case I didn’t like like it. but before it was cooked we were play dodge ball while we were playing dodge ball I fell over and hurt my wrist and a soon as I got up and started running I got hit in the head and fell down also my glasses nearly fell off on the floor but I caught them with my hands it kinda hurt. Also in the kitchen my job was stirring oil, milk and apples it looked kinda yuck but I still stirred it. After playing dodge ball we went in the hall and played with the blocks and we did a  little game where you had to get to the block with another two blocks but the thing is you have to get the whole team across without touching the floor it was pretty hard at the start that was until we figured it all out and at the end you have to either jump pass the and win or jump on the block and win the game but that was not that only at the start but the end was easy as it was so easy that a six year old could do it that’s how easy it was because the block was not far away it was only like 5 to 3 feet that’s not that long.I also like when I fell over and could not throw the ball and could barley throw a ball I could barley even lift up my hand it was pretty funny even my friends were laughing but it was not that funny it was only like a little bit funny but not that funny to be honest so yeah.
