This is some fractions I learned in class so I hope you will agree with my fractions

What I have made is a slide show of jaguars and there are 3 facts and 2 lies.

I found it tricky learning the facts about Jaguars.

It was fun seeing if people could get the answer right.

I did this with Lianka Charlie. it took us a while since we were away.

I wrote about Anacondas on Thursday with a couple of freinds and on national geographic kids.

This is currently unfinised and will be done later next week or tomorrow.

 I believe that animals should not be kept in captivity.

 I believe that sick animals should be kept in captivity because they could die with out help. Over 560.000 00 animals die each year sick in the wild and there are over 40 000 species extinct but  zoos still have extinct animals. How would you like it if you were sick and you were out in the wild needing help.  Zookeepers can help you. I think a good thing is that there is vets in zoos and they always get fed. That is why I believe that animals should not be kept in captivity.

I believe that animals should not be kept in captivity. The animals will not know what their home looks like. On July 26 2025 a monkey named Punch, his mum and dad, left him when he was born and he was mistreated by his step parents. There are 3000 animals that get put down every year in captivity. How would you feel if you got left by your mum and dad and an orangutan toy was your only hope to have people to love. Many years ago in a zoo you could feed a tiger and it could be a pet cat or a dog. This is why I think animals should not be in zoos.

 I believe that animals should not be kept in captivity. Animals shouldn’t be kept in captivity unless they need to be and if they do need to be they should be let out immediately after they are safe. Animals are isolated, scared and sometimes can’t even survive in captivity. Imagine if you are far from your home and your family and don’t know where you are, how would you feel?  I support Wildlife Sanctuaries for helping to keep the animals healthy but Zoos keep animals in captivity for no good reason.

I believe that animals should not be kept in captivity. Animals should not be kept in captivity because they are either taken from the wild into captivity or they lose their instinct because they were born in captivity. There are over 100 million animals dying from captivity each year.
Would you rather be kept in a small enclosure at the zoo or live your life roaming freely in the wild. Animals are isolated from their environments and sometimes their family. In conclusion this is why I think animals should not be kept in captivity.

I believe that animals should not be kept in captivity .Why do you want them to get laughed at when they can be out in the wild? Did you know that 3,000- 5,000 healthy animals are put down each year.
Do you want an animal in captivity? If your family gets put down one by one each year and you’re the last one you will be lonely. So that’s why I believe animals should not be kept in captivity.

The Skiers Code of Conduct is a set of rules to keep you and others safe on the mountain. 

They are:

• Stay in control at all times. 
• Know your ability, start easy, be able to stop and avoid other people. Losing control is the number one cause of falls. 
• People below you have the right of way. 
• The skier or boarder downhill from you has the right of way. 
• Don’t forget to look above before entering a trail. 
• Obey all ski area signage Signs are there for your safety. 
• Always stay out of closed areas. 
• Look before you leap Scope out jumps first. Ensure the area is clear of others and use a spotter on blind jumps. 
• When stopping, try to move to the side of the trail and make sure you can 

During our lesson we learnt to put on and off our skis. We also learnt how to stop which was making a pizza slice or to slow down which was the same but a smaller slice. After we went down the slope and up the magic carpet a few times it was time to learn to turn side to side. The easiest was to go down fast and the hardest was to get on my skis. 

Things I brought were a beanie, a thermal, a pure of gloves, sunscreen, a waterproof jacket, ski pants and lunch and a bottle of water and a pair of spare clothes if they got wet and a pair of sunglasses.

Something really interesting was when we were putting on our skis. We had to put on one and shuffle around to make an edge to the pizza then we put the other one on.

I think that the ski trip was so much fun, but it was so much colder than I thought. I would do it next year for sure it was such a good experience to have.
