Hi bloggers

Today this is my last blog post for 2023. One of  my three highlights from school is running cross country because I didn’t think that I could do it but in the end I made it. Another highlight is going to camp because it was really fun because you got to pick who you would bunk bed with. One more highlight is for keeping my google drive tidy because usually I never keep anything tidy. One challenge for me was athletics because I didn’t think I could do it but I got real close to qualifying for shot put and a couple more tries I made 6.2meter and the qualifying was 6 m. Another challenge for me was making a sock monkey because I had to sew everything. One thing I am proud of is maths because usually maths is hard for me but this year I understood it. One thing I am proud of is my assessments because I think I have done good. I will miss some of my friends because most of them are going to different schools. I am going to Kirkwood next year.

Anyway, this will be my last blog before I move to my new school. This year has been amazing and I know I will miss my friends and teachers. But before I go here are some of the best things that have happened to me this year.

MY THREE HIGHLIGHTS

1. Camp was the BEST! We went to Glentui and it turns out I am going to Glentui next year too!
2. Playing games with our friends and classmates, Miss Silva introduced us to lots of new games.
3. Another highlight is the school DISCO! It was a bit different, because we had a theme to go with but it was still fun!

MY TWO CHALLENGES

1. The Choir was a challenge because it was something new.
2. Some of the activities at camp were very challenging.

TWO THINGS THAT I AM PROUD OF

1. My writing improvement, I have gotten a lot better
2. Also my sock monkey is really cool.

ONE THING I WILL MISS

1. I will miss all my friends and my teachers, also all the memories I have made here.

we have been doing blog posts for three years now and it is now my last blog post of the year. we have done alot of blogging and have wrote about alot of difrent things like playdoh, slime, and lots more. over the there years of blogging i have wrote about 50 to 60 blog posts. my 3 highlights of the year going outside to play games, playing blookets and break time.

This is my last blog post.

One of my highlight from this year was doing winter sport and play ripper there because it was the first ever team for YMS to play ripper.Another one of my highlights was organising pink shirt day because we got to organise all of the things we wanted in pink shirt day. My last highlight was doing my maths because I have gotten better at it and now I am getting focused on it easier. One of my challengers this year was sowing because I had never done it before. My last challenge was doing the writing because we had to look and write which I don’t like.I am proud of getting all of my work done on time. I am also proud of making my sock monkey just what I wanted. I will miss being at this small school because you know everyone there.I am heading to Kirkwood next year.

This is a important blog post because it is my last and I have some stuff to share with you about this year. I remember when I cut my knee open at camp. When I came 2cnd in cross country then went to zones and then went to canterbury’s. I remember when we made gumboots for gumboot friday. 2 challenges I have and this year were learning maths, maths had been getting really difficult. We also have had to overcome big challenges in all sorts of learning it has been a awesome year. I am proud of completing my sock monkey and I am proud of getting higher scores in my tests. I will miss this class I have known most of them since preschool and now I wont see many of them again. I am heading to St Thomas next year for intermediate and high school. Have a merry christmas.

HI BLOGGERS!!

Today I will be talking about my Sock Bunny! So as you may know my class has working on Sock animals and I made a bunny, I have OFFICIALLY finished… well kind of the ear sometimes falls off and so does the headband but other than that she is PERFECT! I named her Fern.

Fern has a brown fluffy scarf to keep her warm and a red headband and a red bracelet! I used my sharpies to draw on her face!

For the past few weeks me and my class (Rimu) have been making SOCK MONKEYS! Firstly we cut our socks, then we started sewing them together. but, if we didn’t add stuffing it wouldn’t exactly be a soft toy; so that’s what we did! We sewed, then stuffed, then sewed the arms, then the same for the ears, eyes, the nose/mouth, and the tail. It was quite hard to not show the sewing though. But; in my opinion mine did pretty good! I didn’t really want button eyes, so I made my own half circle eyes The problem was; I didn’t stuff my ears and my nose/mouth for some reason- so it looks like a mouse. But I think that makes it cuter

I also had taken some photos of my sock monkey on canva! She can do lots of things, like the splits, backflips, basically anything because my sock monkey has no bones

Welcome bloggers today I will be telling you about my sock wolf. His name is Aaron and he is a wolf. His favourite colour is green and yellow. He may seem brave but he is actually a shy wolf. He doesn’t like meeting new people. But after a few interactions he will warm up to you . But be careful he’s very protective of the people he loves so don’t play fight when he’s around. His favourite sport is rugby and he is the biggest all blacks and springboks fan. He also enjoys going to the park and eating mcdonalds. Anyways heres a photo of him . Would you be his friend? Byee.

This term I have been doing technology for technology I made a sock puppet it is a french backer my french baker likes to eat croissants he wears a scarf and an apron for baking .  To make it i brought white new high sock and cut them up to make the body and arms it took along time to stitch but it was worth it i think my sock puppet is amazing.

HEYYYYY!!!!

This is part 2 and my final blog post about my sock monkey! So it’s all complete and i’m pretty proud of it. It could improve but I don’t really care lol! So i’ve done the eyes, nose, legs, arms, body, and ears! I think it looks cute and alright but the colours are giving not my  vibe either way i’m happy with it. I did the colours purple and white my 2 favourite colours lol x CLOUDY PURPLE is my favourite shade of purplEeeEe

For the last couple of weeks I have been making a sock monkey. My monkey is black, My sock monkey looks like a zombie because the eyes are drooping down for a special effect. First I cut up my socks for body parts second I sowed up my legs and put stuffing in. Third I sowed my arms and stuffed them fourth I Sowed my ears and I stuffed them with a little bit of stuffing. Then I got my eyes and sowed them on but that was hard.

TODAY WE FINISHED OUR ESCAPE ROOM. YAYAYAYA. It took us (me and Mischa check out her blog) around 7 weeks. It’s about how to be safe online. We tried very hard to do this.
