This term for technology I have been making sock monkeys. First I had to plan my sock monkey after a long time of planing we finally got to cutting after I had cut all the pieces. I started sewing the pieces together. I changed my idea from a monkey to a human.
I have made my body, leg, arms and a little hat I still have more work to to like the face and the colours. I am proud of my sock human so far.

This term we have been doing sock monkey. I will be showing you how much I have done and showing you what I need to do. I need to put arms on and make the ears and the nose. Sewing was the hardest part and cutting was the easiest part.

For this term were doing technology. The whole class has voted to make sock monkeys. There really cute but were still not done but i know we will be soon. I have so far gotten the boy stitched up no arms or anything only the body and some legs oh, and the head. My favourite part about making and going this is sewing it. I love sewing. My Nana has a sewing machine and sometimes I use it. The easiest part about creating this sock monkey is sewing it up because in my opinion it’s easy but sometimes I will get the thread tangled OOP! Overall i’m very happy with what I have done so far!

Over the last couple of weeks we have been making sock animals. Mine is an ender man from mincraft . It so far has a head arms legs mouth and body it still needs eyes . A sock animal is a snuggle that you make by yousing socks Here is a photo of it so far

Today I made a canva poster about Nz inventors and their inventions I made mine about Richard Pearse and his invention he made the glider.
Richard Pearse is the inventor of the Glider we don’t really know because the write brothers were the first reporter people making and flying it.
Richard Pearse was born on 3 December 1877 he was born in Waitohi Flat. he died on 29 July 1953

Today I have been doing something really exciting. I have been creating slides for the last couple of weeks. This slide show is called Term 4 Literacy. The topic that I have been learning about is Technology and inventors. I have made a cool poster about Norma Mcculloch that includes some information about her.

Today we did some work on famous NZ inventors. I picked to study A. J Hackett (so did a lot of other people). He was the inventor that invented bungee jumping. To test his theory he jumped off the Eiffel Tower. He got arrested for it but it was worth it.

Today I created a Canva poster about inventors and inventions. I did it about William Atack. He created the whistle and he even used it in a rugby game for the first ever person to have a whistle. But nowadays everyone uses the whistle in basically every sport. When William first made it he had to do it in a rugby game and both teams agreed that he can use it.The invention happened in 1884. Today we got to research on a New Zealand investor ot invention. I chose the Hamilton jet boat the Hamilton jet boat was made by Sam William Hamilton. The Hamilton jet boat can sail 55 knots which is 101.86 kilometers a hour. A jet boat sucks water in and pushes it back out to sail. Knots was made back in the days a sailor drops a bucket in the water with knots and the amount of knots that came out in a hour was how many knots they were going.

He went to England and he got an interest in cars and motors that lead him to want to use an engine and then he made the modern jet boat.

Guess what bloggers? I got a new Cybersmart Escape Room! This Escape Room will take me about five weeks to finish to good quality also because we’re doing it at school, and that’s even better so that my, Friend Bella can make one to, Also we could of been buddies if you wanted but yeah you guessed, We wanted different themes! We’re almost done, and I think it’s coming out pretty good, because I also like the theme I did and everything! We’re gonna be done our Cybersmart Escape Rooms soon. Which is really awesome and exciting! So today I added my two questions to my escape room because, at the end their will be 10 questions which will come in a Halloween themed Cybersmart Escape Rooms! We also had to include to our Cybersmart Escape Rooms, a welcome page, (A link to the wrong and correct page to show if you got the question right or not) If you got it wrong, it will take you to the very start and if you got it right then your on the next question. Your goal is to save the little girl from the scary Halloween House, Which she is trapped in.

Today and other days, in other weeks, i’ve been editing my Cybersmart Escape Room Slides!! With different answers, wrong and right..! If you press on a box, it says wrong or right So, in one week i’ll be done! So I will probably link the slides and you can have a look.

Today we where making are eseape rooms we watched a video about what you do if you get a mean comment or email these are my questions we also had to do slides called when things go rong .
Qustion: What should you do if you get a mean comment or email ? Answer: Take a screenshot and show a teacher or parent Quistion: Should you be mean online ? Answer: No because that could stay on your digital foot print and hurt peoples feelings

So the last few weeks we have made an escape room. It is based of cybersmart and being safe online. It is really important to be super safe and don’t talk to strangers unless you want to. I have made an escape room based of the theme…. RYAN GOSLINGGGGG! Yeah, umm he is kinda cute… KINDAAA? HE IS VERY CUTE AND HO……..T anyways I am proud of my escape room because I have linked it all and that takes some time. I just really like it and I really enjoyed making it. I have learned to tell a trusted adult if some RaNdOm.. STANGER emails meeeeeee and don’t reply.
