1 thing I learnt is that littering is evil from the beach day. Because people should care for the environment
1 Thing I need to work on is my JavaScript coding to make it work. Because when I tried to copy a command it won’t work.
1 Thing I enjoyed this week is the beach day where it’s actually better than school. Because it’s fun in the sun. And the sun is good for you because ya’ll need vitamin D.

On that day me and my class (DHT) went to the beach. It was a good day to go to, but it was still cold. We left the school at 9:10, we took 2 vans to the beach, we also got put into 4 groups of 5. I was in a group with Mali, Kyana, Michelle, and Koya. When we all arrived to the beach we met three life guards there names were Sophrose, Cassie, Lisa, Damian and Kirsty. The first activity that we did was learning about CPR it was fun but awkward but it was still fun.
After awhile of doing CPR we had morning tea then after morning tea we did the Rubbish clean up me and my group went to the beach and looked for rubbish until we realised that we had one of the cleanest beaches in the world. After the rubbish clean up we did the Weetbix challenge it was the first one to finish there Weetbix wins the challenge. After the Weetbix challenge we did the “Human pyramid challenge it was really fun and funny i wonder how cheerleaders do this kind of stuff, chubby bunny challenge to i don’t like marshmallow’s but i just wanted to win something but sadly i didn’t i couldn’t take it anymore i had to SPIT out the taste of the marshmallow’s was to yucky for me, but i made it past 8 marshmallow’s and i’m proud of myself for stuffing all those marshmallow’s in my mouth. Then we had lunch and then got ready for the beach once everyone got ready we headed to the beach to played a game called flag. After that we could go for a swim in the cool water. When we finished going for a swim we hopped in the showers got changed and left the beach. We came back to the school to wait until the bell rang then we went home.
That was a nice day.

Beach day!!!
On the 11th of November SWL went to otaki beach.
First we waited at the door and there was Lisa & 2 other people they introduced themselves one girl was Cassy and the other boy was Damien they showed us around the surf club we then went into a room and practised cpr,drs and irb stands for and stuff.

we went upstairs and had morning tea after that we did a challenge in our groups it was cool we had to do walk around doing stuff finding clues it was basically the amazing race it was challenging and hard but it was fun.
Then we went to the beach to pick up rubbish but tit wasn’t much fun because it was raining and we didn’t end up swimming we went back upstairs to eat and just relax then Miss Williamson told us all that we were going to haruatai pools to swim since it was raining.
When we got to haruatai pools everyone jumped into the water and just swam around for 1 hour and 30 minutes then we had to leave back for school so we all walked back to school and just chilled till school finished overall it was a good day.
Day at the beach
On the 12th 11 2019 my class DHT went to the beach for a trip. They went there to play all sorts of games and to learn about the life guards safety rules and all that stuff. Here is a photo of one of the games they were playing witch was chubby bunny.
They cleaned up our beach by picking up heaps of bags of rubbish to help out our community.
And it makes our beach look like a clean beach to hangout on.
It also helps the sea animals so they can’t eat the rubbish and die.

on Tuesday 12 November we had a Beach Day,when I got up I remembered that it was Beach Day(Beach Day was basically a day when we learn beach safety and more fun Activities.).We got to were mufti so I was really happy. When I got to school around 8:40 am I noticed some kids didn’t wear mufti they wore there uniform but some still came.Then the bell we were waiting the we lefted to the beach in the vans.When we got there we met the life guards they had a introduction about them about the beach and what then we learnt CPR Facts:you have to do 30 compression on the chest two breathes on the mouth.
Then we did a beach clean up to see who can pick up the most trash on the beach.Then we did some Challenges like chubby bunny and the weetbix challenge.Then we had some morning tea.Then soon after we got to have a swimming soon after and the waves we HUGE.We even got to pick any board we any board we wanted I picked the lay on one,I would say that it was fun.

On Tuesday the 12th of November.
When our class got to the beach we all met the life guards and then they showed us around and then we went up stairs.When we were up stairs we done some activity’s and learnt about water safety.Then we had morning tea after we finished with learning water safety.So we had morning tea Then the teachers and life guards called us in to learn some more about surf safety but we didn’t do surf safety we went to go pick up some rubbish.After we had picked up the rubbish we done some challenges and then had lunch.After lunch we went to play capture the flag and i won.Then i went on the i.r.b.
And got dropped of out in the sea then swam back because the life guards told me to swim back.So i swam back and then grabbed a surf board and went for a surf.

DHT Beach Day
Where have we been? Well we went to the beach for some fun activities! Okay here how it starts. The class went on 2 vans but I had to go by teacher’s car because there is no room (Oof) and here we are at the surf lifesaving club which is located at the beach.
First order of business we practised CPR which stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or something like that…. and yes we were taught by professional lifeguards. (Lifeguard names: Damian, Cassie, Sophrose, Lisa, Kirsty)
Then we started picking rubbish, sure it sounds lame but we’re doing this not for the William Pike challenge but for the community and the turtles and other sea life, so stop dropping rubbish.
Anyway… I had no lunch so my food are provided by the teachers (EEEeee…..) and then instead of surfing or going on the boat because I had no togs I remained on the sand making lines with a rake (Don’t judge me for being weird. I’m just bored okay?) and then break time is over and did a quiz. Yes a quiz. And then at 2PM we head back to the school. Alright here is some pictures.

Well as you can see up top is mine it was just a quick one to display.

Science reflection
This week and last week we have been doing learning about tally charts. We did a chart on which is the most popular coloured car in the school car park and the most popular colour of car is silver/grey.

Science Fair Reflection
Today in science we learned about the procedures of a fair test. We made made a flow chart (google slide) to show all the steps in making a fair test. The steps are as followed: 1. To make a title about your fair test, 2. Make a hypothesis or what you may think will happen in the experiment, 3. Is to create your experiment and write the procedure and items needed, 4. Is to perform your experiment. 5. You must analyse your data and record your info, if the data is inaccurate you must perform the experiment again, 6. Now all you have to is communicate your results. It is recommended that you do the experiment multiple times to make sure your data is accurate. Everyone must follow this procedure in doing a fair test and I will do it for next year for the school science fair.
