Workshop-Colour & Lightning.

  • Atmosphere – the mood or way the surrounding feels.

Mood- How the setting feeds-sad/happy/clam.

Colours- Pallette – Dominant or Prodomiant  colours in a space or sense.Woodland-browns & greens.

 

Desert- Dry, Yellows, Browns, grey-

Warn Colour-Yellow,Red,Orange,Green tones.

Cold Colour- Blue, Purple, White- Clean,Clincial ,Technologically,Advanced.

Bright-Light that shows everything,Colours that grabs attention.

Dim/Dull-light-That shows parts of thing eg.Candle,Lighter.

Colour-Fades into the background.

Natural light-Sun,Moon,Fire,Stars,Lightning.Comes from nature colours-found in nature

Artificial- light -Man – Made, Usually electricity-lightbulb.Screens.

Colours- man make e.g.

Scene “Its to dark to study”

What happened-It was too dark for William  to study and there was no kereson for a lamp.

Colour- Palette- Green,Grey,Brown,Black-Sad,Dark.

Warm colours,Dull,Natural.

Lighting-Cold bluestone-Sad lonely feel,Dim light,Natural-sun through dark clouds-Not much heading through.

X-viewer- Disappointed  William can study for his test.

Miserable, Dejected, Frustrated

X-director – Shows Williams family are struggling financially- They can’t afford what they used to.

X-other aspect- Mid/Medium shot- Shows the character from waist up and some of there surrounding.

William is trying to study by the light from the window but  its too dark inside to study and to wet outside.
