The fossa
The Fossa is TRULY the most unique. Here is why…
The Fossa feast on medium sized animals from fish to birds. They travel up to 16 miles in search of prey. More than 50 percent of their prey is lemurs. The balance of their diet is lizards, rodents and birds.
The fossa don’t make burrows or nests or live up in a tree. They rest in tree hollows, caves or abandoned termite mounds, usually choosing a different place each night.
Fossas don’t hunt at night like most animals or at day like others they hunt at day AND night.
Now do you think that the fossa is the most unique animal? I think so.
