L.I: To create numbers between binaries and decimals
Tech was all about using binary numbers and decimal numbers. Decimals equal to 10 and Binary equal to 2. The place values times in 2. So it would go 1,2,4,8,16 etc. To create a number you basically use ones and zeros. If you use the number one that means you can use the number. If you use the number zero that means you cannot use the number. All you have to do is add the value numbers to create a certain number.
Example: 10 = 1010 – 8 2
We then played a game called Binary Bonanza. The game basically starts off with the values of binaries. A bunch of ones and zeros will show up on your screen. You have to match the ones and zeros with the values. As you move every level it gets harder. The equal system slowly disappears as you level up and the value number disappears too. There is only 10 levels.
I found this interesting because I was able to practise my binary numbers.
