(Black Lives Matter (BLM), Polynesian Panthers, Racisim). This is the involvement of the Pacific history about racisim in history. This happened in 1971, and still went on, and people still protesting for BLM and Polynesian Panthers in the history. This mostly took place in Auckland and was furocious in the past, some people had to be put in prison for even swearing infront of anyone. Their was policy that the coloured people should be removed from our country or putting them in jail. Also police where dawn raiding the coloured peoples house, and handcuffing them for doing nothing and also telling to leave the country for no reason. In the 1970s the New Zealand police went to the homes of Pacific Islanders who they believed had overstayed in their country and  work permits. Many people were sent back to the Pacific Islands. The police would often arrive very early in the morning and so they became known as the dawn raids. The outcomes for the Polynesian Panthers had become better becuase their were lots of protesters because they wanted to respect everyone and wanted to make things right and stand up for coloured people and stand up for their rights.
