Kia orana, Today room 6 went to auckland museum to learn about pasifika people and there culture. We learned how people in the islander make art through the use of their natural environment we saw lots of tapa cloth which is used as paper when making the tiveavea patterns. We also learnt that people in the islands use berries, mud, flowers and other natural products a form paint. Did you know is takes at least 10 people to make a proper tiveavea pattern on the tapa clothing and it can take 4 to 5 months for them to complete one piece of tapa clohing.
