Halloween Writing 🎃

Hey Readers!

 In writing with Mrs Alpers we have been learning to do vocabulary activities. Today we did a “I can write” Halloween vocab task. For me it was very simple and not too hard to do. We had multiple sentences to write and describe different things. Such as the origin of Halloween.

Anyways, Halloween can be a celebration for some people. It’s a night of trick or treating and dressing up. Some also carve pumpkins and add decorations to their house. This is commonly celebrated on the 31st of October every year. 

Halloween came from a Celtic Festival Samhain. It’s celebrating the dead and having bonfires. This can also be referred to as the dark half of the year.
