Hydro-Electric Power in NZ

Hi there,

today we will be talking about Hydro electricity in NZ I have a queston, that will be the main part in this blog post the question is  :    Why is hydro-electric power so important to New Zealand? I will start off by answering the question.          Hyrdo-electric power is important to New Zealand because it is sustainable and is a cheaper option for NZ, and also since we already have Dams built. It can also have a good result for the future. I will now explain task 1 and task 2.

Task 1: Definition of hydro-electricity.                                                                                                                                   for task 1 we wrote a definition on hydro power, for the definition the 2 classes ( JMC & JMA ) worked on it together. The definition is : Hyro-electricity energy is from water that passes through a turbine and generates electricity.

Task 2 : Drawing                                                                                                                                                                                       for task 2 all we had to do was draw a picture of how the water would be turned into electricity.
