Turtles are a cute cool fascinating creature. With a speed on land of below a human walking pace but can swim faster than you can Sprint! Turtles are also known for their lifespan. They may even live so long they’ll outlive you!

 

The Olive ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea) is also a cute type being the most common With eight hundred thousand left. The Kemp ridley (Lepidochelys kempii) is the rarest with only seven to nine thousand left! The reason why this type is highly endangered is because of the amount of predators such as coyotes, racoon, birds, crabs and feral pigs. 

 

 The Red eared slider is a great pet known for its kindness and intelligence. It is also friendly during eating. Common musk turtle and Eastern box turtle are also great pets followed by tortoise, painted turtle and spotted turtle. 

 

Turtles prefer to live in tank about eight to ten feet if it is fully grown.The good length for a turtle tank is two and a half times its shell knowing that turtles can grow from seven inches (0.983333 feet) to four feet (48 inches).
