My first art piece so far in art has been my book cover for my art folder. I really liked this task because I could draw what ever I wanted.
The 2nd thing we did was just make a mess and see what we could make with paint. Doing this stained my fingers for a while. We also wrote why we chose this particular subject and what we want to get out of it
This time we did mono printing. This is where you use a roller to paint on a sticky surface and put paper on top and draw what ever you want and how you want it to be. In the first picture I just tried to create something by just drawing squiggly lines, and in the second picture I just drew a basketball and a simple smiley face

I think the teacher is trying to make you try your best in the work that you have to and to choose your own work that you would like to do. I achieved the technique of shading and smudging to make the art piece have more tone.
The photo above is my example of where my drawing came from. It is called a moon board where there is a lot of pictures to show your culture or who you are.
The picture above is 3 picture from my mono board. I have used various techniques for the drawing such as: shading, smudging and 3d shaping. I really enjoyed the progress made by my drawing getting better when I started. I struggled with drawing the extreme detail on the miniature train at the bottom of the picture. I would draw the train differently since it doesn’t look the best. I want my teacher to know that I worked hard on this art piece and that I am proud that I did this well
