The Brunner Mine Memorial Trip

Yesterday our whole class went to the Brunner Mine Memorial site. We had to go on the bus to get there.
When we got off the bus, we were split into 4 teams. There were British, Welsh, Scottish and Irish. We were put into these groups because the countries that the miners came from were these places. I was in the Irish team.
First we went down a mini bush walk. This was to get to the bottom of the bush track.
Our instructor Mrs Mears told us about the mine site and the tragedy that happened. She also told us to be safe as we went to go over the bridge. Then she kept on telling us about what happened with the mine over the years.
