I hope this blog post finds you well. It’s Shalomiah here on behalf of K15. In the video attached you will find me using the Place Value Partitioning strategy for the decimal equation that was in our DMIC task for this week. At first with my group, we all struggled to understand how to solve the answer. But as our friends in our class shared back to the whole class on how to solve the equation. Most of K15 asked questions on how they went about solving the problem. It was so lovely to see everyone really into the maths today.
Mr Wilson gave us our independent tasks on our K15 learning hub. In the video, I show you how to solve a certain equation from the tasks by using PVP also known as Place Value Partitioning.
