This week in reading we have looked at a story, comic and video. Then we inferred what we think was happening. We all came up with different answers and it was cool to see what others thought of the text and what they inferred. Inferring is when you think about something about the picture, book or video that hasn’t been stated. For example their might be a picture of a dog barking. You might start to infer that it is barking at another dog, or someone else. We were given a task of picking a picture to infer on our own. Our goal was “independently predict, interpret and analyse text, ‘reading between the lines’ to gain a deeper meaning.” This is my work.
I enjoyed learning about inferring and seeing what others thought about texts.
