Yesterday we had a visit from the Science Roadshow. The focus of the session was Sound Waves.
Some of the main messages about Sound Waves were when the car was closer the sound will get louder and when the car is far away from you the noise will get quieter because the waves have different sounds. The sounds move through the air that is what makes the noise.
Something I enjoyed the most was looking through a big telescope with a light on the end and you could see lots of things like a bee head, flee, bread mold and lots more because I could see lots of things that are small and can’t be seen from far away.
My favorite part of the Science Roadshow was watching the people play with fire on a long metal pole and a Balloon pop in a jar because it looks so fun and I learnt lots of new stuff that I did not know about science.
Something I will take away from this visit was do not play with fire if you have not been trained by a Professional because if you play with fire you could get hurt and go to hospital.
What happens if a car goes past people beeping the horn? What will happen?
