The amazing Science Roadshow

Yesterday we had a visit from the Science Roadshow. The focus of the session was Sound Waves. Sound waves can take 3 seconds to travel 1K and 200 metres. A sound wave is the pattern of movement that makes energy travel through the ear as it travels away from the source that made the sound.

Some of the main messages about Sound Waves were they can be low and high, it is high when there is more space, it is lower when there is smaller amount of room because it is forced together to make a high town sound. Did you know that when a car comes to you it is lower than when it’s past you because, the speed of the car makes less room for the sound then behind you. People can hear up to 20,000, dogs can hear up to 45,000, (wow) that is lowed.

Something I enjoyed the most was this spinning wheel because it makes you woozy and everything is blurry, and it makes me fascinated.

My favourite part of the Science Roadshow was when they did the experiments in front of us because it was existing, and they tested you by asking you some cool questions.

Something I will take away from this visit was sacrifice Rider and Jackson because they were the perfect sacrifice. I’ll take away from this is how to mock fire because it looks and sounds cool, and the other thing is the experience of all of it.

Have you had an experience like this before? If you have, comment.
