The super Science Roadshow

Yesterday we had a visit from the Science Roadshow. The focus of the session was Sound Waves.

Some of the main messages about Sound Waves were when you are closer to something the sound waves are squished together so that makes them louder but when you are further away from them the sound waves are stretched out so that makes them quieter.

Something I enjoyed the most was the spinning chair because you had to hold weights and go in a spinning chair. When you did the big T you had to stretch out like a starfish and that made you go slower but when you did the cannon ball you had to squeeze into a little ball and that made you go faster.

My favourite part of the Science Roadshow was the one where you had to make a fidget spinner thing because you had to melt plastic into a mould and then you got to make a fidget spinner thing.

Something I will take away from this visit was that there are so many different cool science experiments.

What do you like about science?
