On Monday NBC had some visitors they were the antarctic heritage trust/AHT they told the story of sir Edmund Hillary and how he helped cross Antarctica he also raised the money for the food and the first hut in Scott base is named Hillary Hut. Hillary and his team of 23 men lived in the hut.
The AHT brought VR goggles so the year fives and up got to do the vr experience. the experience is walking through Hillary hut there was paintings you could look at windows to look through and phones you could listen to.
I enjoyed the experience.
