Ki ora In room 9 and 10 WALT identify specific vocabulary related to a topic
Our task was to write down some key vocabulary that relate to a topic of interest. My topic was mountain biking. I added these words to a story.
Introduction
45 minutes still sitting at the top of the hill waiting to hit a big jump. I was nervous but my friend Declan did it and I was thinking about it. I really wanted to do it.
Paragraph one
So there I was contemplating on doing this massive jump my friend was doing so I was thinking I should just do it. I said to myself I will do a couple runs up to it then i will see if I’m comfortable or not. So I rolled up to the jump and I thought it seemed pretty easy. So I pushed my bike back up the hill and rolled into it one more time. I thought I was comfortable so I pushed my bike up the hill and sat at the top. I was telling myself I can do it so I dropped in and did a couple of pedas and hit it and it felt so nice then I noticed there was another jump after it I didn’t do it cuz I didn’t know what it was like.
Paragraph two
So me and my friend Declan kept hitting the first jump. It was fun and then I got my other friend to video me while I was doing the jump and the video looked very nice. I decided to do a trick called suicide its wear u put ur arms right behind ur back. It felt so nice in the air I thought I was in a dream. It was so nice. There was this other guy. He was a bit older around 15 and he was doing the first and second jump. One time he even backflipped the second one he was insane. I talked to him about the second one. He said its easy and to just hit it I said alright then.
Paragraph three
There I was about to hit the second jump. I stood up and started pedalling. I hit the first one with ease and it felt very smooth. So I went up to the second one and I hit it but my front wheel went down and I cased it and fell off. My friends came over to help me and they said are you ok? I said no I really hurt my hand. They said do u need a ambulance i said yes please so the ambulance came and they checked out my arm and they said ur gonna have to go to the hospital so i called mum and said can u meet me at the hospital I have broke my arm mum said oh no i will see u soon i said ok. So I got in the ambulance and went to the hospital at the hospital I saw my mum and she took me to a to the x ray room turns out I broke my arm so I will be out for 6 weeks but it didn’t hurt that bad but it annoyed me cus had to get a cast the end.
