I joined St Joseph’s School in 2001 and was appointed Director of Religious Studies later that year and continue in this role to date. I am also the Deputy Principal with a focus on best academic standards in a nurturing Catholic environment through a student- centered curriculum.
As a Deputy Principal, I provide leadership and modelling for teachers in instructional practice, including intervention and differentiation. I believe, that as educators, we must possess a clear and effective pedagogy that embodies our belief, that instruction must be engaging, relevant, and rigorous.
In my role as Director of Religious Studies of St Joseph’s School, I firmly believe that “Catholic education is above all a question of communicating Christ, of helping to form Christ in the lives of others”-Blessed John Paul 11.
My key responsibility is to provide guidance and effective leadership in Religious Education and observances throughout the school. In doing so, I hope to continue to foster a culture across our staff and students to uphold the Special Character of the school and be living witnesses of Christian faith.
It is a privilege and honor to be here, since the last 23 years, and I am proud to call St Joseph’s School and the community my family.
