Urupukapuka

On Thursday Rooms 8&7 went to Urupukapuka to make us better leaders and to build our relationships.

When we got to Paihia we had morning tea then practiced our team statue then we caught the ferry to the island on our way to the island the waves were making the boat shake. We even saw some big cruise ships.

After we got on the island we played a game where the parents went around the mountains hiding cones and we used a compass to mark the degrees on specific places like the shop or the island.

When we finished our game everyone was huffing and puffing drinking water and sitting in the shade. We had lunch and then we did a game where everyone was in the water we had to throw around a disk and try to get it from the start to the end. Then we had a swim around people were on the dock doing manus and bombs.

At the end of the day, everyone got out went and got changed and then we had afternoon tea then caught our ferry back to Paihia and went on the bus people jumped off in town and some hopped off at school. Everything was overwhelming but fun.
