Title: Blake V-R
This week we had a visit from Blake NZ-VR. The focus of the session was about Marine mammals.
The 3 things I found the most interesting about marine mammals were that humans have a lot in common with marine mammals. Something else I found interesting was that there can be about 10,000 whales in one pod. They call it a super pod. The third thing I found interesting is how whales sing to communicate with other whales. I found these interesting because I never knew so much about mammals and now that I am learning about them I really enjoy it.
Something I enjoyed the most was the VR and the explaining about the animals. I enjoyed this stuff because it was interesting to learn about and I have never learnt about it at all. Also liked it because I love the ocean and the animals in it.
My favorite part of the VR session was the VR itself because I have never used a VR in my life and when I first used it I was having a lot of fun. The VR was also really comfortable because of the soft sponge around it.
Something I will take away from this visit was the long videos because I wanted to learn more and I am scared of big fishes and sharks.
What do you know about the food chain in the ocean?
I know that smaller fish eat fishes that a smaller and bigger fish that are smaller than them.
