Hypothesis

I think that the marble ball will go further because a marble has way more smoother and dense,
than a regular ping pong ball. An average marble ball weights around 4-5 gm while a ping pong
weighs 2.7 g, You may think that the ping pong ball will go faster because its lighter but
Marble will eventually go faster because of its less air resistance and heavy force.

Equipment

List everything you used that is needed to repeat and experiment.

  • 2 meter sticks
  • 1 ping pong ball
  • 1 marble ball
  • Egg tray

Steps (Method)

we stack the 2 ruler sticks into the egg tray and put both of the ball left, right to race them. After the results, the marble ball won

Roll Ping Pong Marble
1 21 22.5
2 14 17
3 18.5 17.5
Average 17.8 19

Thanks to the help of Eirmano, Ana, Renz.

Conclusion

The results showed that my hypothesis was correct. We measure the different between the marble and the ping pong ball. As it turns out, my hypothesis was right. the heavier the ball, the faster it would roll because of gravity drag its forces. Its basically the same as dropping a heavy ball and a light ball from a very high place.
