For this task we needed to watch a video about flora and fauna.Here is what flora means;flora means a type of plant.There are many types of flora.For example agriculture flora are plants that are grown for a purpose,like wheat or barley.They are all flora.Fauna means an animal or bacteria.For example,an elephant or a cat.They are all fauna.

Hi guys! Today I am blogging a task we have for our inquiry work! Today we were learning about the difference between Flora and Fauna! here is what I already know about Flora and Fauna! Flora: Flora can be plants, flowers and other native trees and stuff like that. Fauna: Fauna can be many things but here are two examples: Bacteria and parasites (not fully sure yet about the parasites) For the task we had to make a copy of a Graphic Organizer also called: 3-2-1 the 3-2-1 means 3 answers for the first box which was: Things I have learned so 3 answers for that then in the next one 2 answers and the last one was only 1 answer so yeah that’s how it works. This week for inquiry we are learning about flora and fauna and what is different. First we watch a video about what flora and fauna is. In this video it talked about what flora and fauna meant. Flora is the different plants that can help, also the plants that we grow like crops, there are also the plants that we don’t grow like weeds. Some plants we grow for food and some to look at like flowers. Fauna is the different animals that live. It is also how when an animal becomes extinct a new animal might grow more.

Task: First you needed to make a copy of the 3-2-1. Then you would name it and move it. Next you would write down the answer of what you think. 3 things you have learnt 2 things you have found interesting and one thing you want to know more about.

Today is the 30th  of  April and we are doing inquiry!!! For this we had to go onto the seniour learning site and then onto inquiry and then make a copy of a google drawing and fill in a sheet called 3 – 2 – 1 which was to write 3 facts that you have learnt about Flora and Fauna and then 2 was to write things that you found interesting about Flora and Fauna and last but not least number 1 was to write done 1 fact about what you would like to investigate further on Flora and Fauna. Hi again, this is my second Native plant, last time I did the Cabbage tree now I’m on the Harakeke (Flax). I was the same record keeping Google drawing. And again it was s really interesting, Maori made their clothes, tents and the Europeans traded muskets for Flax, and the Maori had tribal wars with. Many native birds ate the flowers that are on the Harakeke. Those flowers are also edible, probably one of the Maori’s most major food/drink.

Hello internet last term at the end of the day I completed my 3-2-1 chart and I was really easy for me.I went on to a flora and fauna  Video and  I found facts on the video and I found a lot of facts but I put the best facts in the chart that I did.This took me about 4 minutes or more to complete this but it was easy.I found out a lot of facts out witch I did not even know.

Hey guys! This week for inquiry we were doing a google slideshow called 3-2-1 and we need to put three things we have learnt, two things we found interesting and one thing we want to investigate more, What I put in what I found interesting is that I put that native flora refers to the native plants of a particular geographical area, the second one I put was that Flora refers to all plant life, the third one I put was that Fauna refers to all the animal life, for the second which was two things I found interesting was Agricultura flora are plants grown by humans with a purpose and Weed flora is known to be unwanted plants that grow in fields of their own, the last one was one thing I want to investigate more and I chose that Weed flora and other unwanted plants and why they grow in farms, Anyway that is all so BYE.
